About Us

Team MI Lacrosse ● HomeAbout Us

When your son or daughter is being recruited by a program like Michigan, or Salisbury; or maybe even to a Prep school like Georgetown, one of the first questions a coach is going to ask will be, "What are they like as a teammate?" And when your player's academic career eventually comes to an end and they're trying to land that first big job, the hiring manager is going to ask their references, "What is their character like?"

While our focus is on developing elite lacrosse players known for their discipline, skill, effort, and lacrosse IQ , our mission is to show them how to be men of integrity. In a world where it's easy not to do the little things, we teach our kids that

it's cool to care, details matter, and hard work pays off.

At Home Weekly Scheduling

Why does Team Michigan exist? To develop elite level student athletes and industry/community leaders of the next generation. We require all players to complete a weekly schedule from the time they enter our program to the time they leave. While we will admit, most third graders don't have a lot to put down yet, it helps them keep learn how to maintain a healthy work life balance! Yes, you do need to have time with your friends on Friday afternoon, how can we get things done earlier in the week to make sure we can do that?! Not only does it form good habits in young athletes, it helps facilitate healthy conversations between parents and their athletes.
