2025-26 Season
Not everyone can make Team Michigan. As much as we love every player and wish they all could get an opportunity, the reality is that there are only 22 roster spots per team. That's where the Lake Show comes in. Whether you are trying to develop and make the roster next year, your family can't commit 3 weeks of the summer at tournaments, or you just haven't had the playing time needed to make a National Roster yet, this is the option for you. With the same high standards our coaches at Team Michigan, Lake Show seeks to be the top rated regional program in the Midwest while Team Michigan seeks to compete for the top spot nationally.
The Difference
Knowledgeable and experienced coaches that don’t just know their X’s and O’s, but are excellent teachers and mentors.
We take the time to make sure we are putting effective coaches in front of your player because not every great lacrosse player makes a great coach.
Appropriate tournament selection for your team.
Traveling out east is expensive and not everyone has the time and resources to do it. That’s why we don’t use a one size fits all model for every team. We select quality tournaments within Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois that will challenge players to maximize their development and opportunity for success over the summer.
Monthly Principal Team Zoom Meetings
Our goal is to develop players not only as athletes on the field, but as high-character individuals off the field. Each month, players will join a team Zoom meeting led by our Program Director, Nick Mulcahy, where we focus on the principles of becoming a great person, both on and off the field.

Season & Practices
Tryouts -
The Lake Show does not hold its own dedicated tryout. Players will attend the July 23 team Michigan tryout and be evaluated there. Rosters are then filled via invite from players who do not make our National level roster.
Practices
September-November - We will hold monthly 2-hour Academy-style practices for players once per month to prepare for our first tournament in the fall. Players will need to RSVP for their fall/winter practice 24 hours in advance so coaches are able to effectively plan.
Practice will be held at East Rockford Middle School
December-February - Beginning in December, we will have Practice for 1 hr & 1/2 every Tuesday throughout December, January, and February (Except Dec 22nd & 29th). And we will have one 2hr practice on one Saturday a month throughout this time!
Winter Practice will be at Elite Training Lab in Rockford, MI.
